| | We travelled to Phuket with Air Asia from Bangkok which only takes one hour. With the journeys either end and the waiting around at the airport it took most of the day. Our host for the next Airbnb had asked us to phone him on arrival at Phuket airport. Despite all attempts to contact him we didn’t get through. On arrival at our condominium complex, in Rawai, we contacted our host via Airbnb. He arrived in 5 minutes so all was well. | | |
| | Our almost new apartment - kitchen | Bedroom looking through to the toilet shower room. If you look hard enough you can see from the bedroom into the toilet. I think someone forgot the frosted glass. | |

| | The lounge – we had 2 flat screen TV’s and very good Wi-Fi | On the beach close to the condominium | |

| | The nearby beach was a working beach so there were plenty of things going on. | | |

| | Evening meal at Nikitas. It turned out the restaurant was owned by our host, Tony. He’s originally from UK and has spent 30 years in Phuket. | Sue on the beach | |

| | Our first geocache on Phuket made rather difficult by the loss of my GPS. I had to use an app on my phone for the rest of the holiday | The log book with entries from many different countries | |

| | A selfie taken in a nearby Wat (temple) | | |

| | We met this chap on the beach close to where we were staying. He’s Australian who has lived nearby for 30 years. He drives around with his 4 dogs in the sidecar. | | |

| | Nai Harn beach, a short ride from where we are staying | Stuart doing his James Bond act after a swim in the Andaman Sea | |

| | Hang On! – The local transport leaves a lot to be desired. We arrived home safely – just. | A geocache with a difference. The cache is in the box on the pole. The lady who runs this establishment came out with a drink for me. She does it for everyone. | |

| | We sat out most nights having our aperitifs before going out for a meal. | The condominium swimming pool, warm water and you could swim lengths. The Russians here bagged the sun loungers very early! | |

| | Long tail boats on Rawai beach | | |

| | Transport home – health and safety? | Sue by the fruit and veg stall | |

| | Stuart at the entrance of Jungceylon shopping mall, Patong. We stayed in Patong for 3 nights. | | |
| | Hard Rock café near to our hotel | | |

| | Bangla Walking Street – a very busy place at night. | | |

We fly to Chiang Mai after 3 days in Patong.
