Thailand - Phuket

We travelled to Phuket with Air Asia from Bangkok which only takes one hour. With the journeys either end and the waiting around at the airport it took most of the day. Our host for the next Airbnb had asked us to phone him on arrival at Phuket airport. Despite all attempts to contact him we didn’t get through. On arrival at our condominium complex, in Rawai, we contacted our host via Airbnb. He arrived in 5 minutes so all was well.

Our almost new apartment - kitchen
Bedroom looking through to the toilet shower room. If you look hard enough you can see from the bedroom into the toilet. I think someone forgot the frosted glass.

Hang On! – The local transport leaves a lot to be desired. We arrived home safely – just.
A geocache with a difference. The cache is in the box on the pole. The lady who runs this establishment came out with a drink for me. She does it for everyone.

We sat out most nights having our aperitifs before going out for a meal. The condominium swimming pool, warm water and you could swim lengths. The Russians here bagged the sun loungers very early!
